Our designers

Maria Jeglińska-Adamczewska
Maria Jeglińska-Adamczewska was born in Fontainebleau in 1983. In 2012, she founded her own design and research studio. She completed a course in industrial design at ECAL in 2007 and received a scholarship from the IKEA Foundation. She works on a wide range of projects, including industrial design, exhibition projects, and research-based design projects. She believes that research can provoke and generate new forms of responses and proposals in today's world. Her clients include Ligne Roset, Kvadrat, Plato, Trame, Vitra, Hermès, Puro hotels, Saint-Étienne Design Biennale, and the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw.

Jan Kochański
Winner of awards: Wallpaper* Design Award, Must Have Łódź Design, and Mazda Design. Designer of the Year 2020 at the international Arena Design Fair in Poznań. Lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. His works have been exhibited in Milan, Frankfurt, Cologne, London, Leipzig, Vienna, Paris, Budapest, Warsaw, Poznań, and Łódź.

Krystian Kowalski
Krystian was born into a family of artists. He specializes in furniture design, holistic spaces, and brand building. His goal is to tailor the product to the needs through observing trends and behaviors, as well as utilizing advanced technologies and comprehensive prototyping in his work. As a result, he creates bold and well-thought-out designs for leading companies in the furniture industry. Numerous prestigious awards received in Poland and abroad, including the iF Design Award 2017, FX International Design Award, and German Design Award, confirm the unique character of his work.

Joanna Leciejewska
Joanna Leciejewska – a graduate and lecturer at the University of Arts in Poznań and SWPS University, is an industrial design professional and the founder of the Joa-Projekt studio. Her award-winning projects, recognized in both Polish and international competitions, are rooted in observing user needs and the context of the final product's use. She designs products that engage multiple senses, create a unique atmosphere, and foster a close relationship with the user. She collaborates with industries such as furniture, audio equipment, optical devices, household appliances, lighting, and medical equipment. Joanna also serves as a juror for the iF Student Design Award and Design Europa Awards.

Bartek Lewandowski
Designer, born in Gdańsk, where he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts at the Faculty of Design. He grad- uated in 2007 (MA). Since 2008 he has worked in the field of architecture and product. Bartek has been involved in team projects for leading manufacturers, brands and cultural agencies in Poland. The works were presented at exhibitions and received awards at the furniture fairs, including the Good Design award in 2011 granted by the Institute of Industrial Design. At the end of 2013 he moved to London where he continued his professional career in well-known design studios. He worked total of six years there developing solutions for leading international companies. Between 2021-22, he lectured at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk with- in the course of Social Design and Teamwork International Design Practice. In 2021, he founded Design for Industry - Bartek Lewandowski to cooperate with manufacturers, companies, institutions in order to create unique solutions, services and products for everyday use. In his works he looks for new solutions and func- tionality, as well as the beauty and elegance of objects.

Tomek Rygalik
A designer, lecturer, curator, and Doctor of Fine Arts. He studied architecture at the Lodz University of Technology. He is a graduate of the Industrial Design Department at Pratt Institute in New York. After completing his studies at the Royal College of Art in London in 2005, he became a research and development staff member at RCA. He runs a design studio and serves as the head of master's studies at the Design Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.
